Frontier Airlines is launching new service from Hollywood Burbank Airport from July 2021, with flights to Denver, Las Vegas and Phoenix. The carrier is also expanding their network from Ontario International Airport in California with new nonstop flights to Atlanta.
On Thursday (May 13, 2021), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of all new service from Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) with flights to Denver, Las Vegas and Phoenix from July 2021. The airline is also launching new service from Ontario International Airport (ONT) in California with new nonstop flights to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), also starting in July. To celebrate the airline’s arrival in Burbank, Frontier is offering one-way fares from only $19. To qualify for the introductory fares, customers must book their flights by 11:59 pm on May 17, 2021 for travel on select days from May 17th through October 6, 2021 (roundtrip purchase not required).
In Thursday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Vice President of Network and Operational Design, Josh Flyr, said,
“We’re excited to add Hollywood Burbank Airport to our route map with nonstop Denver, Las Vegas and Phoenix flights this summer. Frontier offers a robust flight schedule in Southern California and the addition of Burbank will provide an even more convenient and easy to use option for many in the region seeking affordable fares and friendly service to a variety of popular destinations.”
Burbank Hollywood Airport’s Executive Director, Frank R. Miller, added,
"We welcome Frontier Airlines and the services they’re launching at BUR just as leisure travel starts to ramp up again. Our customers now have more choices, adding to the convenience of Hollywood Burbank Airport.”
In a separate press release on Thursday (May 13, 2021), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of new nonstop flights between Ontario International Airport (ONT) in California and Atlanta (ATL) starting in July 2021. Frontier will also increase the flight frequencies between Ontario and Denver to 11 weekly flights. To celebrate the new and added service, the carrier is offering one-way fares from only $29. To qualify for the introductory fares, customers must book their flights by 11:59 pm on May 17, 2021 for travel on select days from July 15th through October 6, 2021 (roundtrip purchase not required).
Commenting on the carrier’s Ontario expansion, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Vice President – Commercial, Daniel Shurz, said,

With the addition of this new service, Frontier now offers nine nonstop destinations from ONT this summer, the most of any airline serving the airport.
