Frontier Airlines is expanding their network from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with three new nonstop routes including service to Buffalo, Providence and Portland, Maine.
On Wednesday (April 7, 2021), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of three new routes from Myrtle Beach (MYR), South Carolina with nonstop flights to Buffalo (New York), Providence (Rhode Island) and Portland (Maine) from June 2021. Service to Portland, Maine will be offered twice weekly from June 10th, while two weekly flights to Buffalo will start on June 11th. The carrier will offer one weekly flight between Myrtle Beach and Portland, Maine from June 12, 2021.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Vice President – Daniel Shurz, said,
“We’re excited to expand our Myrtle Beach service with three new nonstop routes to Buffalo, Providence and Portland. Summer is quickly approaching, and Frontier’s low fares and friendly flying experience offer a convenient option for families and friends who are looking to travel and explore great outdoor destinations.”
Also commenting on Frontier’s expansion, Horry County South Carolina’s Director of Airports, Scott Van Moppes, added,
“The introduction of new nonstop destinations demonstrates Frontier’s commitment to MYR and the popularity of the Grand Strand as South Carolina’s premier coastal gateway. These new flights will further enhance the air travel opportunities available to both local residents and visitors to our community and will arrive in time for the popular summer vacation season.”
