Frontier Airlines Starts Service From Oakland International Airport to Denver, Las Vegas and Phoenix

Today, Frontier Airlines started service from Oakland International Airport to Denver, with flights to Las Vegas and Phoenix starting on February 5th. To celebrate the launch of the new routes, the carrier is offering introductory fares starting at only $19.

On Thursday (February 4, 2021), Frontier Airlines launched new service from Oakland International Airport (OAK) in California to Denver (DEN), with service to Las Vegas (LAS) and Phoenix (PHX) commencing on February 5, 2021.

In Today’s announcement, Frontier’s Senior Vice President of Commercial, Daniel Shurz, said,


“Frontier has landed in Oakland with low fares and convenient service to three very popular destinations; Denver, Las Vegas and Phoenix. We are committed to ‘Low Fares Done Right’ and these new flights offer customers unparalleled affordability and trip customizability. Like all Frontier service, these new flights will adhere to our high health standards, including required mask wearing, pre-boarding temperature screenings and enhanced onboard cleaning.”


Also commenting on the new Oakland service, the Port of Oakland’s Director of Aviation, Bryant L. Francis, added,


“We’re thrilled to have Frontier Airlines here at Oakland International. Now Bay Area travellers will be able to fly Frontier from the airport that is closest to home for most Bay Area residents. Visitors to the San Francisco Bay Area - for business or pleasure - will also appreciate the convenience and reliability for which OAK is well known.”
