Frontier Airlines to Launch Three New Routes for Spring 2025

Starting May 1st, 2025, Frontier Airlines will launch new service between Washington Dulles and Las Vegas, while new flights between Charlotte and Tampa will start on May 2nd.   The carrier will also launch new service to Punta Cana from Cincinnati on May 22nd.

On Monday (February 3, 2025), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of three new routes for spring 2025.  From May 1st, 2025, the carrier will start new daily nonstop service between Washington Dulles and Las Vegas, while new twice weekly service between Charlotte, North Carolina and Tampa will commence on May 2nd, increasing to four weekly flights from May 22nd.  Additionally, Frontier will launch seasonal direct service between Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic from May 17, 2205.  To celebrate the introduction of the new routes, one-way fares are now available from $29 (T&Cs apply).


In Monday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ VP – Network and Operations Design, Josh Flyr, said,


“The addition of these new routes is part of our mission to offer consumers affordable, convenient flight options to a wide variety of destinations throughout the U.S., Caribbean and beyond.  As we begin 2025, we are launching the next chapter of The New Frontier, providing consumers even more ways to enjoy the best value in air travel and experience a more seamless and comfortable journey.”

Frontier has introduced ‘The New Frontier’ which provides more transparency through upfront pricing and options to meet the needs of individual guests.  The enhancements include no change or cancellation fees, a ‘For Less’ Price Guarantee and longer flight credit windows, among others.  The carrier also now offers UpFront Plus, a new upgraded seating option with extra leg and elbowroom, plus an empty middle seat, in the first two rows of the aircraft.
