Hi Fly Expands Fleet With Two Additional Airbus A330-200s

Hi Fly has added two Airbus A330-200s to their fleet, which are registered as 9HMFS and 9H-HFL.  The aircraft feature an all Economy Class configuration with capacity for 345 and 361 passengers, respectively.

On Tuesday (October 15, 2024), Hi Fly, a leading wet-lease and charter airline, announced the addition of two Airbus A220-300s to their fleet.  The aircraft have been registered as 9H-MFS and 9H-HFL, and can accommodate 345 and 361 passengers, respectively, in an all Economy Class configuration.  Customers will enjoy a generous seat pitch up to 33 inches, inflight streaming for onboard entertainment, and recently upgraded cabins with new leather seat covers and carpets. 


In Tuesday’s announcement, Hi Fly’s CEO, Antonios Efthymiou, said,


“We are actively expanding our fleet at a steady pace, and we are thrilled to welcome these two new Airbus A330-200 aircraft.  These additions perfectly enhance our service offerings and will enable us to provide an even broader range of options to meet the growing global demand for our services.”


Hi Fly is the world’s largest wet-lease specialist of Airbus widebody aircraft.  The company’s operations have been certified by EASA and IOSA, and approved by the FAA.  Hi Fly maintains AOC’s in Portugal and Malta, and the carrier is licensed to operate worldwide.  The carrier operates a large all Airbus fleet of A320s, A330s and A340s, which are available for wet-lease and charter, passengers and cargo, on short, medium and long-term contracts.
