Iberia has launched four exclusive flights for Iberia Plus customers, who can only purchase tickets by redeeming Avios. Flights will be available to Santorini and Catania, with tickets available from only 2,100 Avios.
On Wednesday (May 8, 2024), Iberia announced the launch of four special flights for Iberia Plus customers, with tickets only bookable by redeeming Avios. The destinations for these flights is the Greek island of Santorini and Catania on Sicily, with tickets available for booking from only 2,100 Avios. Catania flights are bookable by Iberia Plus customers from 2,100 Avios plus €73.80 each way, and a maximum of 8,250 Avios plus €23.80, redeemable by segments, without having to purchase a roundtrip fare. Iberia Plus customers can book flights to Santorini for 2,750 Avios plus €83.80, or a maximum of 11,000 Avios plus €23.80.
The Madrid-Santorini flight will depart on July 7th, with the return flight to Madrid departing on July 14th. Flights from Madrid to Catania will depart on July 27th, with the return flight departing Catania on August 3, 2024.
Iberia Plus is Iberia’s frequent flyer loyalty program, which currently has over 10 million members. The program has six card levels, including Classic, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Infinita and Infinita Prime, as well as Iberia Plus Kids, for children between two and eleven. Iberia Plus members can earn Avios when purchasing flights on associated airlines, along with select hotel stays, car rentals, refueling, and other purchases at over 100 Iberia partners. Avios are also redeemable for the purchase of flights, hotels, car rentals, multi-day getaways, leisure experiences and more.
