With Morocco announcing the opening of borders on June 15th, Iberia will resume services to Marrakech, Casablanca and Tangier. During July and August, the carrier will offer daily service to Marrakech, five weekly flights to Casablanca, and three weekly flights to Tangier.
On Wednesday (June 23, 2021), Iberia announced the restart of flights to Morocco, following the Moroccan Government’s June 15th statement that the country’s borders would reopen. During July and August, Iberia will offer daily 180-passenger Airbus A320 service to Marrakech. Flights to Casablanca will operate five-times weekly by Iberia Regional/Air Nostrum with a 100-passenger CRJ1000 aircraft. Tangier flights will we offered three times per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays by Iberia Regional/Air Nostrum, and will also be operated with a 100-passenger CRJ1000 regional jet.
To celebrate the resumption of service to Morocco, Iberia is offering roundtrip fares to Marrakech from €64, to Tangier from €97 and Casablanca from €142. For added peace of mind, the carrier offers free ticket change flexibility for travel impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
