Updated: Jan 11, 2020

Today, JetBlue announced that they will be going big on their Beantown schedule for 2020 with up to ten daily flights to new York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA). JetBlue is building out their leadership position at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) with a strategy to add more flights on top performing routes. In addition to the expansion of LGA service, the airline will offer three daily roundtrip flights to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) in Austin, Texas. JetBlue is clearly committed to defending their Boston turf as American Airlines announced service between Austin and Boston earlier this week. JetBlue’s newly added third flight from Austin will offer travelers an early morning departure from the Texas capital as well as an evening return.

The carrier will also phase in additional service from Boston on fifteen coast-to-coast routes throughout 2020, including more service to Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), San Diego (SAN) and Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC). In 2020, JetBlue will offer more than 180 daily departures from Boston Logan, solidifying their New England market position. JetBlue operates over 1,000 daily flights to around 100 destinations in the U.S., Caribbean and Latin America. The New York-based LCC carries more than 42M passengers annually and maintains significant operations in New York, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, San Juan and Los Angeles (Long Beach).
