JetBlue to Begin Service From Long Island MacArthur Airport to Three Florida Destinations

JetBlue is expanding their New York Metro presence with the start of new service from Islip’s Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP).  From late October 2024, the carrier will launch flights from ISP to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach.

On Tuesday (June 11, 2024), JetBlue announced that they will expand their New York Metro footprint with the start of now service to/from Islip’s Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP).  Starting October 24, 2024, the carrier will launch new daily service between ISP and Orlando (MCO), as well as four weekly flights to West Palm Beach (PBI).  On October 25, 2024, JetBlue will also launch new service between Long Island MacArthur and Fort Lauderdale (FLL), which will also operate four times per week.  In celebration of the new service from ISP, JetBlue is offering introductory one-way fares on the new routes from $49 (T&Cs apply).   


In Tuesday’s announcement, JetBlue’s Vice President – Network Planning and Airline Partnerships, Dave Jehn, said,


“Long Island is an integral part of the New York Metro area, and we are excited to bring our award-winning service to customers in this community.  The addition of Long Island MacArthur Airport to our network will offer more options and greater convenience for customers, and we are proud to provide new opportunities for more Long Islanders to experience our unique combination of low fares and great service.”

Also commenting on JetBlue’s arrival at ISP, Islip’s Town Supervisor, Angie Carpenter, said,
