British Airways is sharing the love this Valentine’s Day with special touches and sweet treats on the ground and in the air. The carrier has also launched a dedicated ‘Love is in the air’ IFE channel featuring a range of romantic content.

On Wednesday (February 8, 2023), British Airways announced that they will be sharing the love this Valentine’s Day with their guests, both on the ground and in the air. Customers will be spoiled with a range of special touches and sweet treats, and the airline has also launched a dedicated ‘Love is in the air’ inflight entertainment (IFE) channel featuring a range of romantic content. Additionally, customers can purchase Valentine’s Day-themes gifts through the carrier’s Highlife shop and earn bumper rewards, with extra Avios from select retailers through the airline’s Executive Club eStore.
In Wednesday’s announcement, British Airways’ Chief Customer Officer, Calum Laming, said,
“Whether our customers are heading off on a romantic break, a half-term family getaway or a solo adventure for one, we know that every journey is original and indeed special. We hope these little gestures go a long way in showing our appreciation and make our customers feel more loved than ever this Valentine’s month.”
Celebrating the month of love, British Airways’ culinary experts have created a bespoke Valentine’s Day afternoon tea for guests traveling in First. The tea service includes a range of finger sandwiches, a chocolate orange Battenburg, raspberry tart and a chocolate love heart cookie. Accompanying the sweet treats, guests can select from Warre’s Colheita 2009 Tawny Port or the Sauternes, both carefully selected by the carrier’s Master of Wine. Club World customers will enjoy a chocolate mousse dessert and a raspberry and rosewater Valentine’s macaroon as part of afternoon tea in Club Europe, which can be paired nicely with Graham’s Six Grapes Reserve Ruby Port.

Additionally, customers can take advantage of last-minute British Airways Holiday packages, for a romantic trip to New York, or a city break to Amsterdam or Copenhagen.
