Lufthansa has announced the launch of Lufthansa Allegris, the carrier’s brand-new products across all cabins, between Munich and Shanghai. The Allegris-equipped Airbus A350-900, flight LH726, departed Munich on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
On Thursday (August 15, 2024), Lufthansa announced that Lufthansa Allegris, their brand-new products across all cabins, has taken flight between Munich and Shanghai. The inaugural flight on the route featuring Allegris, LH726, departed Munich at 22:15 on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. The route will now operate on a daily basis with the Allegris-equipped Airbus A350-900. Joining Vancouver, Toronto and Chicago, Shanghai becomes the fourth Allegris destination, and the first in Asia. For summer 2024, Lufthansa will offer daily service from Munich to both Shanghai and Beijing. In total, the German flagship carrier provides 40 weekly flights to the Greater China Region.
In Thursday’s announcement, Lufthansa Airlines’ CEO, Jens Ritter, said,
“We are thrilled to introduce the Allegris products to Shanghai and convinced that they will meet the needs of various Chinese passengers. Every guest has their own understanding of premium. This is why with the Allegris range we focus on maximum individuality and exclusivity and premium service along the entire travel chain. Shanghai is currently the first Allegris destination in Asia. We aim to further enhance the customer experience onboard and strengthen our leading position on China-Europe route.”

Lufthansa Allegris is the carrier’s new long-haul travel experience across all cabins, including First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy. The First and Business Class experience is unparalleled in the market, thanks to its seating variety. Lufthansa’s Allegris-equipped Airbus A350-900s feature 38 Business Class seats, including eight suites, 24 Premium Economy and 201 Economy Class seats, including 22 more legroom seats.
