Passengers, airport visitors and crews love the A380, the flying experience and the feeling of space.  At the same time, the A380 offers more premium seats than any other aircraft.”

Lufthansa will base eight 509-seat Airbus A380s at their Munich hub this summer, each featuring eight First Class, 78 Business Class, 52 Premium Economy and 371 Economy Class seats.  Inbound travelers to Denver can also enjoy seamless one-stop connections with Lufthansa’s Star Alliance Partner United Airlines to a further 170 destinations, including Phoenix, Las Vegas and Honolulu.  Lufthansa has offered direct service between Munich and Denver for the last nine years, complementing Frankfurt-Denver service which has been operating for the last 25 years.

Lufthansa further announced on Thursday (January 23, 2025), the start of a new exclusive partnership with Japanese artist Sho Shibuya, who will be designing unique new loungewear for the carrier’s new Allegris First Class.  The loungewear will be available on select flights in Lufthansa Allegris First Class from Munich to New York in February.

Sho Shibuya became world-famous for his works, which change in impressive color gradients from dawn to sunset.  The contemporary Japanese artist has created a unique design for Lufthansa, inspired by a view of the sky that can only be experienced high above the clouds.  With great craftmanship, Copenhagen’s premium home-wear brand Tekla brought the artist’s skyline to life in a collection of high-quality loungewear and produces the exclusive garments.  Each piece of the limited-edition loungewear is unique, like the ever-changing sky.
