Norse Atlantic Airways Celebrates Inaugural Service Between Orlando and Oslo With Fares From $149

Norse Atlantic Airways launched inaugural service between Orlando and Oslo on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner 'Longship' departed Orlando at 17:30 and touched down in Oslo at 08:25 local time following the the eight hour flight.

On Wednesday (July 6, 2022), Norse Atlantic Airways announced the start of new service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Oslo, with the inaugural flight departing MCO on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 17:30 and touching down in Oslo at 08:25 local time. The route will be operated three times weekly with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and one-way fares start from only $149. Norse also started service daily service between New York and Oslo on June 14th and three weekly flights between Fort Lauderdale and Oslo on June 18th. The carrier will commence service between Los Angeles and Oslo on August 9th with three weekly flights.

In Wednesday’s announcment, Norse Atlantic Airways’ CEO, Bjørn Tore Larsen, said,

Also commenting on the new service, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s Chief Executive Officer, Kevin Thibault, said,


“Scandinavian traditions of Vikings and ships are just part of the rich cultural heritage of Oslo, Norway and with today’s launch of new service to this ancient land and beyond, Norse Atlantic Airways has helped open the door to more cultural and economic opportunities for Central Florida residents and businesses.”


The day after Independence Day, Norse Atlantic Airways celebrated the first commercial flight from Orlando to Oslo. The first flights between Oslo and the U.S. departed on June 14, 2022.
