Norse Atlantic Airways has today announced the successful completion of their inaugural charter flight for P&O Cruises. The flight departed Manchester Airport on Friday (November 1st) for Barbados with over 300 guests, where they joined P&O’s Britannia.
On Tuesday (November 5, 2024), Norse Atlantic Airways announced the successful completion of their inaugural charter flight for P&O Cruises. The first flight departed Manchester Airport on Friday, November 1st, 2024, with over 300 guests onboard. After arriving in Barbados, the passengers joined P&O’s Britannia for a 14-night Caribbean cruise. From November 2024 through March 2025, Norse will operate one weekly flight on Fridays from Manchester and Barbados. The carrier will also operate Saturday flights from London Gatwick and Manchester to Antigua/Barbados on alternating weeks.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Norse Atlantic Airways’ Founder and CEO, Bjørn Tore Larsen, said,

Also commenting on the start of the successful charter partnership, Carnival UK and P&O Cruises’ President, Paul Ludlow, added,

We are immensely proud to see this first flight with Norse take off, marking the start of our winter Caribbean season.”
Norse Atlantic’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners are configured with Economy and Premium cabins, and customers can choose between Light, Classic and Flextra fares. Economy Light fares represent the best value and now includes a 10kg carry-on bag and a personal item for added value, while Flextra fares include the maximum baggage allowance, two meal services and an enhanced airport and onboard experience, plus added ticket flexibility. Each seat is equipped with a state-of-the art inflight entertainment (IFE) experience, and Premium cabin seats feature a generous 43-inch seat pitch and a comfortable 12-inch recline.
