In Friday’s announcement, Norse Atlantic Airways’ Founder and CEO, Bjørn Tore Larsen, said,

“We are proud to introduce this exciting new route connecting Rome and Los Angeles, two of the world’s most dynamic cities.  Our passengers will have the opportunity to explore the deep history of Rome and the cultural energy of Los Angeles, all while enjoying our affordable and comfortable flights.”

Norse Atlantic’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners are configured with Economy and Premium cabins, and customers can choose between Light, Classic and Flextra fares.  Light fares represent the best value, while Flextra fares include the maximum baggage allowance, two meal services and an enhanced airport and onboard experience and added ticket flexibility.  Each seat is equipped with a state-of-the art inflight entertainment (IFE) experience, and Premium cabin seats feature a generous 43-inch seat pitch and a comfortable 12-inch recline.

Founded in March 2021 by major shareholder and CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen, Norse Atlantic Airways offers affordable transatlantic and European flights.  The airline’s first flight between Oslo and the U.S. departed on June 14, 2022.  The company’s head office is located in Arendal, Norway, and Norse has a second office in London.  Norse has a fleet of 15 modern, fuel-efficient Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.  The carrier offers service to New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando, Bangkok, Cape Town, Oslo, Athens, London, Berlin, Rome and Paris.
