On Thursday (August 22, 2024), Norwegian Air Shuttle announced that SAS EuroBonus gold and diamond cardholders can now enjoy a status match shortcut to Norwegian Reward Priority. After applying for status match, they will then enjoy a range of valuable benefits including free baggage, fast track, priority boarding, free seat selection and priority customer service. Eligible SAS EuroBonus gold and diamond members can now apply for Norwegian Reward Priority status match by clicking here. Upon approval, they will receive the benefits for a trial period of 60 days. To extend status for a full year from the date of approval, customers must book and complete two flights with Norwegian.
In Thursday’s announcement, Norwegian’s Commercial Director, Magnus Thome, said,
“In recent years, Norwegian has adapted to business travelers and others who fly frequently, and now we want to invite even more people to take part in our top level. We therefore offer all EuroBonus gold and diamond members a shortcut to Norwegian Reward Priority. In particular, we see that our route network in Norway and the Nordics appeals to those who travel a lot with work, and we get good feedback that we cancel little and are punctual.”
