Oman Air has today announced the introduction of their new ‘Business Studio’ product, which will replace First Class. Business Studio will retain the same spacious layout, lie-flat seats, and Wi-Fi connectivity, but will offer lower fares and a refined, modern service.
On Wednesday (August 21, 2024), Oman Air announced the introduction of their new Business Studio product. The new cabin replaces the carrier’s First Class, and retains the same spacious layout, classic lie-flat seats, and Wi-Fi, while offering more affordable fares, and a redefined service approach that has been tailored to the modern business traveler. Featuring predominantly on Oman Air’s London and Bangkok services, the new elevated Business experience combines all the features of a premium flying experience with the carrier’s award winning service and hospitality.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Oman Air’s Chief Executive Officer, Con Korfiatis, said,
“Inspired by valuable guest feedback and to adapt and evolve in line with global market trends, we have strategically refined our premium offering to deliver greater value and appeal. The traditional First Class experience has seen diminished demand, and after careful analysis and benchmarking against industry standards, we decided to retire the product. This decision allows us to focus on delivering an exceptional Business Class experience that better meets modern traveller expectations and is more closely aligned with the demographics targeted by the national tourism objectives, such as such as wellness, adventure and MICE. Moreover, we’re offering it all at a more competitive price point.”
According to Oman Air, their new Business Studio offers the best Business Class available anywhere in the region, with seats that offer a generous 82-inch pitch, privacy walls for every seat, a 23-inch personal IFE screen, free Wi-Fi connectivity and à la carte dining. Guests will be able to book Business Studio starting September 9, 2024.
