Passengers traveling from Orlando International Airport can now guarantee a parking spot through the airport’s new Reserve Parking program. The service is available via the airport’s website of the MCO mobile app.
On Monday (January 22, 2024), Orlando International Airport (MCO) announced the launch of their new Reserve Parking program, which will guarantee travelers a parking spot prior to arriving at the airport. In December 2023, MCO opened three new surface lots to respond to increasing parking demand, and an increase in local passengers from 20 to 30 percent over the last decade. The new lots are accessible with E-Pass and SunPass Plus. SunPass customers must be enrolled in Easy Pay, and a transponder must be used to enter and exit the lots. In total, Orlando International Airport has over 2,000 parking spaces.
In Monday’s announcement, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s CEO, Kevin J. Thibault, said,
“This is a perfect example of our strategic plan in action, which focuses on innovation to meet demand and our customers’ needs. Having the option to secure parking in advance can help more passengers to experience a seamless journey.”
Customers can access the Reserve Parking program via the airport’s website or the MCO mobile app in advance of their arrival at the airport. Once logged in, they simply enter their vehicle information and make a payment. Then, they will receive a QR code for easy access to Level 4 of Parking Garage C. Currently, this is the only location where the program is operational, and the approximately 715 spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, for $32/day.
