Own a Piece of Aviation History: Airbus to Auction A380 Parts for Charity in October 2022

In Toulouse, from October 13-15, 2022, Airbus will auction off over 500 A380 parts for the benefit of the Airbus Foundation and the AIRitage association. Items will include lamps, the bar, stairs, handrails, trolleys, seats, paddles and even the cockpit rescue rope.

On Friday (June 3, 2022), Airbus announced that they will hold an auction in Toulouse and online from October 13-15th, where over 500 A380 parts will be sold to benefit the Airbus Foundation and the AIRitage association. Some of the available items include lamps, the bar, stairs, handrails, trolleys, seats, paddles and even the rescue rope from the cockpit, which will be auctioned off under the hammer of Maître Labarbe. Most of the items will come from A380 MSN13, which entered service in 2008 and was deconstructed by TARMAC Aerosave in 2021.
