Porter Airlines has partnered with BMO and Mastercard to launch a new co-branded credit card. The new BMO VIPorter Mastercard suite will be available to Canadians from spring 2025.
On Wednesday (January 29, 2025), Porter Airlines announced the launch of a new co-branded credit card in partnership with BMO and Mastercard. The BMO VIPorter Mastercard will be available to Canadians from spring 2025, providing customers with enhanced travel benefits and additional rewards at every step of their journey. Cardholders will also enjoy an accelerated ability to earn VIPorter points and redeem for flights through everyday purchases. BMO and Porter will strategically work together to deliver more programs to make travel more convenient and rewarding for Canadians.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Porter Airlines’ President, Kevin Jackson, said,

VIPorter loyalty members receive 100 percent of their eligible points for every flight purchased, including Basic Economy fares, excluding taxes and fees. Additionally, accelerated earning and additional travel benefits are available for VIPorter Avid Travellers.
Members can redeem points for any seat with no blackout dates, including points-only and cash-plus-points options. Customers can also earn PorterReserve flight certificates, starting at $3,000 in annual spend. Porter’s Head Start program allows members to carry over up to $3,000 in Qualifying Spend into the next year to accelerate their Avid Traveller benefits. A pre-launch waitlist for the new BMO VIPorter Mastercard is now open for VIPorter members, with a special offer available if eligibility requirements are met.
