Starting May 15, 2025, Porter Airlines will launch new nonstop service between Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and Victoria International Airport (YYJ). The summer seasonal route will operate up to four times weekly.
On Tuesday (January 28, 2025), Porter Airlines announced the launch new direct service between Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and Victoria International Airport (YYJ) starting May 15, 2025. The route will operate up to four times weekly for the summer 2025 season. Victoria becomes Porter’s second British Columbia destination, joining Vancouver with direct routes to Ottawa. This is the carrier’s 20th direct route available from Ottawa. Connections for Victoria are available through Ottawa to Porter’s Eastern Canada network, including Halifax, Charlottetown, Fredericton, and St. John’s. Flights on the new route will be operated with a state-of-the-art 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Porter Airlines’ VP – Network Planning and Reporting, Andrew Pierce, said,
“Ottawa continues to be a growing market for us. This route provides more passengers the opportunity to discover Porter’s award-winning elevated economy experience. With Victoria as our latest addition, travellers now have more options to fly across the country with us.”

PorterReserve fares also include priority check-in, extra legroom seats, premium mixed cocktails, and fresh, heathy meals. These ancillaries can also be purchased à la carte with PorterClassic fares.
