Porter Airlines is expanding their presence in British Columbia with the launch of new service between Toronto Pearson and Kelowna. Starting May 24th, the carrier will offer five weekly roundtrip flights on the route, increasing to daily service on June 23, 2025.
On Tuesday (December 17, 2024), Porter Airlines announced the launch of new service between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Kelowna International Airport. Starting May 14th, Porter will operate five weekly return flights on the route, increasing to daily return service on June 23, 2025. With the new route, Kelowna becomes the carrier’s third British Columbia destination served with their new 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, complementing existing service to Vancouver and Victoria. Travelers will also enjoy connecting flights to Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax and St. John’s.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Porter Airlines’ SVP and Chief Commercial Officer, Edmond Eldebs, said,
