Pratt & Whitney has signed an agreement with Delta TechOps under which Delta will provide additional offload support for mature commercial engines including the PW2000 and PW4000-94” engines.
On Monday (May 9, 2022), Pratt & Whitney announced the signing of an extension agreement with Delta TechOps (DTO), under which the carrier will provide additional offload support for mature commercial engines including the PW2000 and PW4000-94” engines. Delta TechOps is a world-class MRO provider for mature commercial Pratt & Whitney engines as well as the GTF engine fleet. DTO has a long-standing collaborative relationship with Pratt & Whitney and has MRO headquarters in Atlanta and several locations across the U.S. The contract signing took place at MRO Americas, which was held in Dallas from Monday, April 25th through Thursday, April 28, 2022.
In today’s announcment, Pratt & Whitney’s Senior Vice President – Aftermarket & Sustainment Operations, Joe Sylvestro, said,
“With passenger air travel recovering and the importance of cargo to the global economy, it is imperative that our engines stay in peak operational condition to keep fleets flying reliably and safely and to ensure everyone and everything gets to where it needs to go. We are excited to be expanding our working relationship with Delta TechOps.”
