Qatar Airways has announced the launch of three weekly flights between Doha and Toronto Pearson International Airport starting December 2024. The route will be operated with a Boeing 777-300ER featuring 42 Qsuite Business Class and 312 Economy Class seats.
On Wednesday (October 2, 2024), Qatar Airways announced the launch of new service between Doha (DOH) and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) in Canada starting December 2024. The route will operate three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with a Boeing 777-300ER featuring 42 award-winning Qsuite Business Class seats and 312 Economy Class seats. Toronto will become the carrier’s second Canadian gateway, joining Montréal, and 14th destination in the Americas. Inbound customers to Doha will enjoy seamless one-stop connectivity across Qatar Airways’ extensive network, including destinations such as Colombo (CMB), Bangkok (BKK), Delhi (DEL), Kathmandu (KTM) and Mumbai (BOM).
In Wednesday’s announcement, Qatar Airways Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Engr, Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said,
“The Toronto route is a strong and enduring commitment towards providing Qatar Airways’ Canadian customers with the enhanced connectivity they deserve, as well as access to our world-leading service and Qsuite in-flight product. The addition of a fourteenth gateway to our Americas network is also a testament to our aim in maintaining a key presence across the local market, and cements our reputation as a reliable global connector.”
Flight QR767 will depart Doha at 09:50 and arrive in Toronto at 15:55, while the return flight, QR768 departs Toronto at 20:00 and touches down back in Doha at 16:30 (all times local).
Qatar Airways currently serves over 170 destinations worldwide, connecting via the carrier’s hub at Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha, Qatar.
