SAS has today announced the launch of a new strategic partnership with Scandic Hotels to enhance the guest experience and loyalty benefits. From the first quarter of 2025 loyalty members will begin to enjoy exclusive benefits, including status match.
On Thursday (October 17, 2024), SAS announced the start of a new strategic partnership with Scandic Hotels Group. Starting Q1 2025, loyalty members will enjoy unique and exclusive benefits. The new partnership has been named ‘Friends with benefits’, highlighting the mutually rewarding relationship between both brands and their customers, while capturing how SAS EuroBonus and Scandic Friends can enjoy a more integrated and rewarding travel and hospitality experience. During the initial phase of the partnership, members of both loyalty programs will receive status matching, along with a streamlined point conversion process, with more benefits to be rolled out later in 2025.
In Thursday’s announcement, Scandic Hotels Group’s President and CEO, Jens Mathiesen, said,
“The agreement between Scandic and SAS demonstrates the power that the leading players in Nordic hospitality have to create value for millions of travelers. This partnership provides strong incentives to choose both Scandic and SAS for future hotel and flight bookings, as well as for travel experiences. I look forward to working together with SAS to continuously add value for our guests, members, and companies over time.”
