SAS has today opened an additional lounge at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The new SAS Lounge by Mastercard is located at Terminal 5 in the area of Gate F, and builds on the carrier’s successful co-branding partnership with Mastercard.

On Friday (February 14, 2025), SAS celebrated the grand opening of an additional lounge at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The new SAS Lounge by Mastercard build’s on a successful co-branding partnership with Mastercard, and has also been supported by several other key collaborators, including Carlsbad and Scandic. Located in Terminal 5 in the area of Gate F, the lounge reduces walking distances, enhancing the overall travel experience. The additional lounge allows SAS to offer 50 percent more seating to EuroBonus Gold and Diamond members daily, along with customers traveling in Business Class or Plus.
In Friday’s announcement, SAS’ VP – Product & Loyalty, Aron Backström, said,
“We are pleased to announce that passengers now have access to exclusive services just a short walk away, regardless of their departure gate. The SAS Lounge by Mastercard builds on our highly valued collaborations and marks a significant milestone in our shared mission to improve the customer experience.”
Also commenting on the lounge opening, Carlsberg Sverige’s, VP – Marketing. Yiannis Evdokiadis, said,

The new SAS Lounge by Mastercard offers modern inviting spaces, while prominently showcasing SAS’ partner relationships. Guests can indulge in a range of snacks and light bites throughout the day, paired with beverages from Carlsberg, Scandinavia’s leading brewery.
