SAS has announced an expansion of their partnership with Delta Air Lines with the addition of new transatlantic options, ensuring a seamless travel experience between Scandinavia and North America.

On Monday (March 31, 2025), SAS announced an expansion of their global network with additional codeshare destinations with Delta Air Lines. Starting April 2, 2025, customers will benefit from numerous additional flight options to the U.S. from Copenhagen Airport. For summer 2025, this includes 21 weekly departures to New York and 10 to Minneapolis-St. Paul. Service between Stockholm Arlanda and New York will also increase by 20 flights per week. The expanded agreement will also offer customers reciprocal codeshare and frequent flyer benefits, allowing travelers to earn and redeem SAS EuroBonus points or miles with Delta SkyMiles across both carriers.
In Monday’s announcement, SAS’ Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Verhagen, said,
“We’re pleased to take our partnership with Delta to the next level, making it even easier for our customers to travel the world with more choices than ever. This growth allows us to reinforce our commitment to delivering excellent service and seamless global connectivity.”
