Starting September 12, 2025, SAS will launch first-ever direct service between Copenhagen and Seoul, South Korea. The route will operate three times weekly during the winter season, and four times weekly during the summer season.
On Thursday (November 28, 2024) SAS announced the launch of first-time ever direct service between Copenhagen and Seoul, marking the first regular service between Scandinavia and South Korea. Starting September 12, 2025, the route will operate three times weekly during winter and four times per week during the summer schedule. The new route will complement SAS’ network reach and strengthen Copenhagen’s role as a major intercontinental gateway, while providing seamless connectivity for Asian travelers to Scandinavia and across Europe.
In Thursday’s announcement, SAS’ President and CEO, Anko van der Werff, said,

SAS has optimized the schedule with evening departures, ensuring seamless connectivity within Europe, thereby maximizing travelers’ time at their destination. The new Copenhagen-Seoul route will be serviced with a 300-passenger state-of-the-art Airbus A350.
