Starting April 14, 2025, Scoot will launch new service to Iloilo City in the Philippines. The route will operate four times weekly with an Embraer E190-E2. The carrier will also start new service to Vienna with three weekly Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner flights from June 3, 2025.
On Thursday (January 16, 2025), Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA), announced the launch of new service to Iloilo City in the Philippines and Vienna, Austria. Starting April 14, 2025, the carrier will operate four weekly flights between Singapore and Iloilo City on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with a 112-seat Embraer E190-E2 aircraft. Service between Singapore and Vienna will commence on June 3, 2025, with three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The Vienna route will be operated with a 329-seat Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner configured in two classes.
In Thursday’s announcement, Scoot’s CEO, Mr. Leslie Thing, said,
