Spirit Airlines to Launch New Service from San José to Las Vegas, Dallas and San Diego

Starting June 7, 2023, Spirit Airlines will launch new nonstop service from San José, California to Las Vegas, Dallas and San Diego. The carrier will offer twice-daily service to Las Vegas, and daily flights to both Dallas and San Diego.

On Thursday (February 16, 2023), Spirit Airlines announced the launch of new nonstop service from San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) to Las Vegas (LAS), Dallas (DFW) and San Diego (SAN) starting June 7, 2023. The carrier will offer two daily flights to Las Vegas, and daily service to both Dallas and San Diego. San José will become the seventh California airport serviced by Spirit, joining Burbank (BUR), Los Angeles (LAX), Oakland (OAK), Orange County (SNA), Sacramento (SMF) and San Diego (SAN). The carrier has been serving California since 2000, when they launched service to Los Angeles. Spirit currently offers 55 daily departures to 23 out-of-state destinations from California. Over the past three years, the airline has grown the number of flights and seats from the Golden State by 41 and 46 percent, respectively.

In Thursday’s announcement, Spirit Airlines’ Vice President – Network Planning, John Kirby, said,
