The airline will ramp up operations this week from Toronto with additional flights to destinations including Abbotsford and Cancun. The carrier’s winter schedule includes the return to Kelowna International Airport was well as flights to popular sunny destinations.
On Sunday (October 25, 2020), Canadian LCC Swoop announced the launch of operations at Toronto Pearson Airport with flights to Montego Bay, Edmonton, Kelowna and Halifax. This week the airline will ramp up operations from Toronto with flights to additional destinations including Abbotsford and Cancun. The launch of the carrier’s winter 2020/21 schedule includes the return of service to Kelowna International Airport as well as flights to popular sunny destinations. In Sunday’s announcement, Swoop’s President, Charles Duncan, said,

Swoop’s winter schedule includes direct flights to Kelowna, Abbotsford, Halifax and Edmonton as well as sunny destinations such as Las Vegas, Orlando, Tampa Bay, Montego Bay and Cancun – all supported by Swoop Getaways flight plus hotel packages. As part of the airline’s commitment to the region, Swoop will continue to serve Hamilton with multiple weekly flights to Edmonton and Abbotsford.
All transborder and international Swoop flights and Getaways includes complimentary COVID-19 insurance for bookings from October 15, 2020 for travel through April 24, 2021. The insurance is valid for 21 days and one-way travel is excluded. For additional peace of mind, Swoop guests can also purchase ‘ModiFly’ which allows a one-time change to the date and time of their booking.
