Transat Appoints Chrystal Healy as Vice President, Corporate Responsibility

Transat has appointed Chrystal Healy as Vice President of Corporate Responsibility, effective April 4, 2022. In the newly created position, Ms. Healy will be responsible for implementing the carrier’s ambitious environmental, social and governance (ESG) plan.

On Wednesday (March 30, 2022), Transat A.T. Inc announced the appointment of Chrystal Healy as Vice President of Corporate Responsibility, a newly created position, effective April 4, 2022. In her new role, Ms. Healy will be responsibility for implementing the company’s ambitious environmental, social and governance (ESG) plan, including setting and meeting targets, while ensuring full and transparent reporting. Her appointment is part of Transat’s commitment to strengthening their leadership in corporate responsibility and supporting strategic goals such as managing and reducing carbon emissions, developing their team, and strengthening diversity.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Transat’s Chief People, Sustainability and Communications Officer, Christophe Hennebelle, said,

Her solid experience in sustainable development with major companies, her vision of integrating this cross-functional role into business strategy, and her leadership and management skills are strengths and sources of innovation and success for our corporate responsibility program, which is important to Transat and its employees, and which is becoming increasingly important to stakeholders, particularly consumers.”
Also commenting on her new appointment, Chrystal Healy added,
“Transat wants to go even farther. I am very excited about the opportunity to contribute my experience and expertise to helping the company strengthen the corporate responsibility approach it initiated in 2007 and which is one of the main pillars of its strategic plan.”
Ms. Healy has 15 years of professional experience in corporate responsibility in various industries. Most recently, she served as Corporate Director – Environment and Sustainability at Kruger, a privately held company operating in Canada and the U.S., which operates in the paper, paperboard and packaging sectors. Prior to joining Kruger, Ms. Healy headed the Environment and Sustainable Development departments at Quebecor Word and Quebecor. Chrystal Healy holds an MBA from the John Molson School of Business (Concordia University) in Montreal, as well as an MSc and BASc in biology from McGill University.
