Today, United Airlines announced the grand opening of their newest club at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). The new 6,000 square foot United Club will officially open on Saturday February 29, 2020 and is located in the newly constructed terminal near gate C7. The club will provide guests a variety of amenities so they can work, relax, refresh and dine during their travels through MSY. In Friday’s announcement, United Airlines’ Managing Director of Premium Services, Alexander Dorow said,

“Our expansion into new Orleans showcases United’s commitment to transforming the customer experience across all touch points and complements the beautiful new terminal at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. It’s a fresh location for us to begin our evolution to become more local and reach new audiences.”

In a nod to New Orleans’ vibrant culinary traditions, the new United Club’s menu will feature regional specialties such as muffuletta sliders with pimento cheese, gumbo and rice, Cajun pepper dip and Creole egg salad. Local favorites such as Abita Amber beer and Southern Comfort will also be available as part of the club’s extensive beverage selection. The club can seat 95 guests in a variety of areas to suit individual preferences including spaces for productivity, privacy and dining. Complimentary Wi-Fi and numerous power and USB charging ports are available for club guests wishing to stay connected.

The new United Club in New Orleans is the carrier’s first new club to open this year and is part of United’s commitment to renovate and open new clubs throughout their network. This year, a new club will also open at Phoenix Sky Harbor and Newark Liberty International Airport will receive a new United Club in 2021. Additionally, construction on a new, larger club at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (Honolulu) will start later this year and United will open their sixth United Polaris lounge at Washington Dulles International Airport this summer.
