Virgin Atlantic to Launch New Service to the Maldives and Turks & Caicos for Winter 2023/24

Virgin Atlantic will launch new seasonal service to the Maldives and Turks & Caicos for winter 2023/24. Three weekly flights between LHR and the Maldives will commence on October 22, 2023, while twice weekly service to the Turks and Caicos will start November 15, 2023.

On Thursday (November 17, 2022), Virgin Atlantic announced the launch of new service between London Heathrow (LHR) and both the Maldives and the Turks & Caicos for winter 2023/24. The carrier will offer three weekly flights to the Maldives, with tickets available from November 30, 2022, and flights commencing on October 22, 2023. Twice weekly flights will be offered to the Turks & Caicos with tickets available for booking on January 11, 2023, for travel from November 15, 2023. The new Caribbean service to the Turks & Caicos complements service to the Bahamas, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and St. Lucia. Both routes will be operated with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner featuring 31 Upper Class, 35 Premium, and 192 Economy Delight, Classic and Light seats.


In Thursday’s announcement, Virgin Atlantic’s Chief Commercial Officer, Juha Jarvinen, said,

We’re delighted to begin flying to the Turks & Caicos islands, as we continue to grow our Caribbean portfolio, offering more choice for our customers to explore these beautiful islands and enjoy some winter sun. We know our customers will be over the moon with the introduction of these new destinations, both offering something unique for travellers looking to either simply relax or explore a new corner of the world.”
