On Thursday (September 12, 2024), Virgin Atlantic announced that they will open their latest Clubhouse at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) during the first quarter of 2025.  The new lounge will be located in the Tom Bradley International Terminal, and guests will enjoy the carrier’s premium, personalized experience prior to traveling to London and beyond.  Conveniently located just minutes from Virgin Atlantic’s boarding gates, Clubhouse visitors will be able to soak up every moment prior to boarding.

In Thursday’s announcement, Virgin Atlantic’s Chief Customer & Operating Officer, Corneel Koster, said,

“We’re thrilled to bring our award-winning Clubhouse to the vibrant, entertainment capital Los Angeles, where we know business and leisure travellers alike will enjoy our experience before their flight across the pond.  Our latest Clubhouse will have something special for every customer, from signature dishes to British designer finishes, plus some fun surprises you’d only expect from Virgin Atlantic.  And we know our amazing teams will bring the experience to life brilliantly.”

Virgin Atlantic’s new LAX Clubhouse will feature signature touches, such as an expansive bar and social area with table service dining options, as well as exclusive spaces, including a VIP Booth dubbed ‘The Royal Box’, and flexible seating areas for working, dining and connecting.  As part of the interior design, the carrier will pay homage to Los Angeles with local artwork and inspired mood lighting.  The space has also been designed to optimize guests’ circadian rhythm and encourage mindfulness and relaxation.  Additionally, travelers will be able to stay connected with wireless charging, Bluetooth connectivity, and power outlets throughout the space, including at the bar and in private pods.

The new Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse will also offer showers and changing facilities.  Like Virgin’s award winning London Heathrow Clubhouse, the bar’s in-house mixologists will be shaking up guest favorites, including the signature Virgin Redhead cocktail.

The LAX Clubhouse will be open daily, welcoming customers flying in Upper Class on Virgin Atlantic plus one guest traveling with Virgin Atlantic or Delta Air Lines.  Other eligible guests include Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Gold Card member plus one guest traveling internationally with Virgin Atlantic or Delta Airlines, Delta One customers on an international Delta flight, and SkyTeam Elite Plus members traveling with Virgin or Delta plus one guest traveling on and international flight operated by a SkyTeam member airline.  Customers connecting domestically must be traveling on the same day on the same itinerary and ticket.
