Porter Airlines will operate their largest-ever schedule from Toronto’s Billy Bishop and Pearson airports this winter, becoming Toronto’s second largest carrier. Porter will operate up to 180 daily flights across 34 destinations from Toronto for winter 2024/25.
On Thursday (October 24, 2025), Porter Airlines announced that they will become Toronto’s second-largest carrier between Canada and the U.S. for the winter 2024/25 season. The carrier will operate more flights from Toronto’s Billy Bishop and Pearson airports, with up to 180 daily flights across 34 destinations. At Toronto Pearson Airport, Porter will serve 23 destinations with up to 86 daily flights, a 19 percent increase versus last winter, including new service to West Palm Beach, San Diego, Thunder Bay and Palm Springs. All routes from Toronto Pearson will be operated with a state-of-the-art 132-seat Embraer E195-E2. As part of Porter’s winter schedule, they will double flights to Florida with op to 20 daily departures between Toronto and six destinations in the Sunshine State.
In Thursday’s announcement, Porter Airlines’ President, Kevin Jackson, said,
“Becoming the second-largest carrier in Toronto is the result of our passengers’ response to Porter’s elevated experience and the service provided by the entire Porter team. As a result, we’ve become a major competitor across North America by challenging the definition of what it means to travel in economy.”
Also commenting on Porters winter schedule expansion, Toronto Pearson’s Executive Director Customer Experience and Airline Relations, Karush Minocher, said,
“Porter has demonstrated their commitment to building a hub at Toronto Pearson with an impressive 21 routes launching from our airport since it started service in 2023. We celebrate the new four destinations launching this winter and look forward to continuing to evolve our partnership to bring passengers even more options on routes.”
From Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport, Porter will continue to offer up to 94 daily flights to 15 destinations, with flights to domestic Canadian and U.S. destinations.

This winter across both Toronto airports, Porter will offer up to 9,340 seats daily with 180 flights. The carrier serves every Canadian province and many U.S. fun and sun destinations, including Arizona, California, Florida and Nevada.
